Our newest solid rugs explore the convergence of nature and folklore. Color is a Feeling: Return of the Wool, our second hand tufted wool solid rug collection, is comprised of five colors representing not only a varied assortment of botanical influences the mythology which surrounds them.
A subtle contrarian, Blue Thistle is renowned for its beauty but is prickly and unpleasant to touch, and refuses to smell of anything. This hardy little plant is widely celebrated as a symbol resilience and was thought to ward off evil. Thistle is beloved by bees, butterflies and other pollinators, and bears the distinction of being the first recorded national flower (Scotland).
