We started working with bamboo silk a few years ago with our Deadstock collection. Though we were hesitant to work with a yarn so ethereal it reputedly could be touched by neither water nor sunlight, we were pleasantly surprised by the bamboo silk rugs we kept in our home. Despite their beauty and delicacy, they held up against dogs, children, our own carelessness. Do they look the same after years of heavy use? No. But one of the things we liked best about them was their resemblance to crushed velvet and as time passes the resemblance simply becomes more pronounced.
- Pile height ranges from ½”-¾”
- Available in sizes 2'x3’, 4'x6’, 6'x9’ and 8'x10'
Due to the nature of how these are tufted there may be small marks from the tufting process on the bamboo silk rugs.
