80% New Zealand wool and 20% nylon yarn on 100% cotton woven backing



Our Motif rugs are constructed in random shear style where artisans randomly shear the tips of the tufted rug, leaving other portions looped. The cut yarn ends provide subtle color contrast to the looped ends, an effect complemented by the delicate textural variations of the rug’s surface.

A note on color: the lookbook images may have been brightened and lightened and may not accurately reflect the true colors in the rug. Please always refer to the photos on white ground for the closest possible color match.

The yarn for all our pieces is hand dyed in small batches. Slight variation in colors between production runs is expected.

Our hand tufted Motif rug styles are our most durable rug and suitable for high traffic areas.



Regular vacuuming is essential to maintaining the condition of your rug, in particular the Motif rugs. But overly high suction or some beater bars can damage your rug over time. We advise turning off the beater bar function when vacuuming rugs.

Due to the method of construction, it is natural that through use or when cleaning some loops may be snagged or pulled. To address, simply trim, but please never further pull. As with any tufted or knitted piece, this will cause more unravelling of your rug.
