Take me back to Formentera
Though we didn’t realize it at the time, we began designing the Take Me Back to Formentera rug collection while on honeymoon on that magical Balearic island in early summer 2016. In the weeks and months following our return, whenever we got bent out of shape we would remind ourselves to be as we had been in Formentera - haphazard, generous, curious, and adventuresome.
When it came time to design the new collection, we kept drifting back to honeymoon photos taken from our bicycles, or after dark at one of the many seafood shacks on the beach, or riding jet-lagged toward the island on a fast-moving ferry.
