Cotton yarn is tufted onto a cotton backing, leaving a surface of looped yarns. To achieve our bathmat's distinctive texture, portions of the surface pile are shorn into a super-soft shag, while other areas remain cushiony, rope-like loops.

The yarn for all our pieces is hand dyed in small batches. Slight variation in colors between production runs is expected.

Machine wash individually on cold/delicate cycle with a gentle detergent and machine dry. Machine drying is optional, but at least some time in the dryer will better restore the fluffiness and texture of your bathmat.

Due to the method of construction, it is natural that through use or laundering some loops may be snagged or pulled. To address, simply trim (and cut if you are able), but please never further pull. As with any tufted or knitted piece, this will cause more unravelling of your bathmat.
