100% bamboo silk yarn on 100% cotton woven backing
Bamboo is a versatile, fast growing, pest-resistant and self-regenerating grass native to warm climates. Our rugs are made from bamboo silk yarn, which lends it a soft and cool hand feel. While it has a reputation for being a delicate fiber easily damaged by water or crushed by furniture, vigorous cleaning, or foot traffic, we have also found them to be quite durable. Depending on your preference, you may or may not mind them being a little lived-in, especially as their subtle iridescence tends to conceal imperfections.
Our Bamboo rugs are tufted and sheared by hand. Due to the nature of how these are tufted there may be small marks from the tufting process on the bamboo silk rugs.

A note on color: the lookbook images may have been brightened and lightened and may not accurately reflect the true colors in the rug. Please always refer to the photos on white ground for the closest possible color match. Bear in mind this may vary from screen to screen, especially with rugs constructed from bamboo silk yarn, whose sheen results in the color looking different depending on the pile direction and the light.

Our Bamboo Silk rug styles are most suitable for low to medium traffic areas.
Regular vacuuming is essential to maintaining the condition of your rug, but overly high suction or some beater bars can damage your rug over time. We advise turning off the beater bar function when vacuuming rugs.
