Inspired by the sensibility and elegance of MFK Fisher's famed How to Cook a Wolf, a book about how to live, narrowly disguised as a book about how to eat. Fisher’s throwaway, measure-less recipes gave her readers no choice but to join in her flexibility and offhandedness. But to cook like that, wasting neither vegetable-cooking water nor an inch of the oven - required an economy borne of respect for all the pieces of the world that happened to converge in her kitchen. The rugs in our first washable rug collection, How to Cook a Wolf are intended to be as adaptable and resilient as their namesake, enough so to find their way into some new spaces - bathrooms, kitchens, patios.
Pale lavender with grassy green, black, mint, olive, and cream
